    Tom Yum Goong Banglamphu Seafood

Looking for an authentic Bangkok street food experience with fresh seafood? Then look no further, as it doesn’t get any more street-foo-like than this. Tom Yum Goong Banglamphu is a famous Bangkok street- and seafood vendor located close to Bangkok’s backpacker Walhalla Khao San Road. It is one of the two real street food vendors on this list, the other one being – also incredibly tasty - Nhong Rim Klong. Street food doesn’t mean its low quality, as the seafood you’ll try at Tom Yum Goong Banglamphu will be one of the best you’ve ever tasted! And the prices? With a maximum dish price of 200 THB, this is also one of the cheapest seafood restaurants in Bangkok. My favourite seafood at Tom Yum Goong Banglamphu are Stir-Fried Shrimp with Garlic (200 THB) which is made with large freshwater prawns, and their Spicy Thai Shrimp Salad (200 THB) which also consists out of large freshwater prawns and is flavoured with heaps of lime juice, crushed chillies, mint, lemongrass, fish sauce and green- and white onions. Other favourites are Fried Clams with Chili Paste and Basil (100 THB) and their signature Tom Yum Goong (150 THB) which is indeed one of the best tom yum with seafood in Bangkok!
