Review: Seen Sky Bar @ Avani Riverside Hotel Bangkok
Upscale and stylish rooftop bar and restaurant, floating high above Bangkok's Chao Phraya River
If you like luxury, relaxation and stunning views, AVANI Riverside Bangkok Hotel offers a great rooftop terrace in Bangkok to visit. The space used to be Attitude rooftop bar, but after some remodelling it is since early 2019 home of the amazing SEEN Restaurant & Bar Bangkok. SEEN (which can also be found in Sao Paulo and Lisbon) is a trendy, modern and art déco inspired rooftop bar and restaurant, offering a lot: amazing views over the Bangkok skyline and the Chao Phraya river flowing outside, international fusion food from awarded chefpreneur Olivier da Costa, fantastic mixology cocktails and a vibrant and stylish vibe with live DJs setting the tone.
Set over two floors, the 26th floor is an indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, where you can dine international á la carte or choose something from the sushi menu. On the 27th floor you find the open-air rooftop bar, where you can enjoy fantastic signature creations, very pleasant for both the eyes and the taste buds. Luxurious and not cheap, but well worth every penny. SEEN Restaurant & Bar is open to all, but guest staying at the AVANI Riverside can also enjoy one of the coolest rooftop pools Bangkok has to offer, found next to the rooftop bar. Superb views from the infinity pool of the Bangkok skyline are complemented with a seperate lunch menu, cocktails and refreshing smoothies.
