Surat Thani is a city in the South of Thailand, near to the Gulf of Thailand. It’s known for islands, oysters, seafood, and delicious Southern Thai food. In this video we’re going on an ultimate Thai street food tour in Surat Thani city. Here are the street food stalls we visited: Khao Gaeng Nok Khun Tong. An absolutely stunning Thai rice and curry stall - everything you order is superb. This is probably the best breakfast you can eat. Catfish Curry, Beef Chili Curry, Turmeric Chicken Soup, Son In Laws Eggs, Sour Curry, Fried Pork Total price - 170 THB
Ran Kai Dao . This restaurant serves Western Thai style breakfast food. The food is not really my style, but it is legendary and classic, and worth a visit for the ambiance. Total price - 120 THB (3.70 USD)
Yok Kheng - This is a legendary street food noodles restaurant in Surat Thani. They offer some unique dishes, and again it’s a classic restaurant that’s been around for decades. Special Noodles, Pork Noodles, Mango Sticky Rice Price - 50 THB ($1.54) per bowl
Ba Ya Shellfish - Looking for a street food oysters bar? This is the place in Surat Thani. The oysters were huge and plump, the taste wasn’t the best I’ve had, but they were big and fun to eat - especially Thai style with all the toppings. Oyster, Mussels Total price - 360 THB ($11.10)
Ba Ya Desserts - Finally to end this Thai street food tour of Surat Thani, we went to eat a few desserts from a desserts stall in a truck at the market. They had a huge selection! Mixed Dessert, abtim Krob Price - 20 THB (0.62 USD) per bowl
