Bangkok Airways suspends Hat Yai and Da Nang Routes

Regional airline Bangkok Airways based in Thailand announced the temporary suspension of two of its routes “until further notice.” Bangkok Airways will suspend all flights on the domestic Bangkok – Hat Yai route on March 1, 2023. International route Bangkok – Da Nang, in Vietnam, will be suspended from May 1, 2023. The airline did not reveal the reason for the temporary suspension of the two popular routes with no set dates for their return.

Passengers who already bought tickets on the aforementioned routes beyond the suspension dates have three options…

1. Request a refund as a ‘Travel Voucher’ to use on other flights serviced by the airline via www.bangkokair.com/travel-voucher
2. Request a full monetary refund via https://www.bangkokair.com/managing-my-booking
3. Have Bangkok Airways rearrange the flight on another airline
